EnduroShop South Africa was established through a passion for the dirt bike market and lack of service within the industry. Lack of service meaning the poor variety and limited options offered from so many retailers. You had to know people, who knew people in order to try and get what you wanted. The idea spawned from the fact that there must be an easier way than having to drive around and collect consumables and oils for the weekend rides or races. How could we turn our passion for the sport, and our desire for great service into a product to supply the much needed market. BOOM, EnduroShop South Africa was born.

We survived for the first 18 months and our product is performing well. Being part of the riding community worked in our favor as we were at ground zero with the riders to establish what they really wanted from us and how they wanted it. We soon worked out what was selling and needed to expand a little bit. So we moved on to create our own retail store. A bit different to the usual idea of having a store first and website later. We now have our “Retail Outlet” based in Benoni, Johannesburg and we are clearly making our presence known by being able to offer delivery nationwide to new and repeat customers. We are now suppliers of most of the premium brands available in South Africa, (Thor, 100%, Motorex, Bel-Ray, Bridgestone, and plenty more).

We have worked hard over the past 3 years (and counting) to build up our suppliers list and create an environment that offers all types of dirt bike riders the opportunity to get all the products with all the varieties available here in South Africa. Service is a big part of our commitment to you and we are constantly working on ways to improve and update our clients as much as possible. We started by using our resources to create a product and develop ourselves to compete in the market. We had the basics, now we needed the suppliers. Suppliers have always been skeptical about supplying “Online Retailers” as the perception is that online retailers have very little overheads (which is an urban legend) and generally damage the market as far as pricing goes. This is not the case with EnduroShop South Africa. Although we focus a large portion of our attention and resources on the website, we have a retail store as well that is equipped with general supplies for the rider that comes in off the street. Having developed our relationship with our suppliers to gain their trust and confidence, we are able to supply our clients with all the great products and line items that our suppliers have on offer. We worked this idea to offer all our clients, all the brands, with all the options possibly available in South Africa. We only use the local importers of products (which there are plenty of), and we do not import any products or brands ourselves.
