R&G Crash Protectors CP0544BL is designed to bend rather then snap under impact. A compression sleeve is added to the inside of the bobbin to allow the retained bolt to be torqued and corrected to specifications and to not loosen during vibration.

Product Description
 R&G Crash Protectors CP0544BL kit features stylish and aerodynamic aero crash bobbins. By using the mounting blocks and brackets supplied, the fitment only requires no modifications to the fairing in order to fit these frame sliders. The crash bobbins are not “mushrooms” and unlike most of the competitors, R&G use treated high-tensile steel bolts. The bolts have been designed to allow the retaining bolts to be tightened to the correct specifications and not work lose through vibration.
